A Post-Holiday Post Of Little Or No Importance, Which Contains a Photo That The Foolish Knight Finds Amusing

Did you have a good Christmas and New Years? I'm still recovering from mine (in a good way), and don't expect to post anything else on this blog this week. But don't worry, I'll be back before you can spit. In the meanwhile, why not treat yourself to a viewing of Serenity, put on a record of Sufjan Stevens (whose name I now pronounce your way, Eucharisto) or read The Great Divorce or The Elements of Style or something like that? (I guarantee that you'd have more fun doing any of those things than reading this blog, anyway, even if I was posting.)

Or you could clean your room, which is what I need to do.

Dear God, please strike buddha dead!(Oh wait a second, if buddha was ever alive that might have been possible!!!)

Chill out? Take a chill pill? Is this the Knight I know who wants to stay up all night and be a DJ for a lower class dance club on waltz night?

Wow, now I see that this post might be profoundly confusing to anyone who hasn't seen Serenity. The Buddha reference is a joke from that movie. As for the chill pill deal, I guess it's one of the dangers of writing off the cuff, I really have no idea what I meant. Did it offend you?

I had a really weird dream last night and maybe that's throwing everything off. I make some revisions to this post and we'll see if that helps things.

There, Lukolas, I've made my changes and am now happy wih them. Let me know what you think. (I certainly wouldn't want to lose my job as a DJ for a lower class dance club on waltz night!)

Yep I cleaned my royal abode a couple of days ago, while I was talking to Midsummer about the Incredible Kevin Max.

I hope that View place has a ballroom, see you in May! He he he!

Waltz night, eh? Sounds... three beatish... I would clean my room but every time I try i all ways start playing guitar or playing with my pet rat or something. so my room will just have to stay messy for a little while longer.

I will reveal how much a nerd by picking out of that post the one reference to the best writing manual written since, well, "eats shoots and leaves"? The Elements of Style is now illustrated! Not that I completely understand what the illustrations have to do with the style remarks but still its cool that its trendy. Go Strunk and White!

I will venture into even nerdier territory: not only is there an illustrated version of The Elements of Style; a full fledged opera is in the works! I heard about it on NPR.

What's next? An Eats Shoots And Leaves reality TV show?

Oh, and JD, I understand completely; my pet rat is always keeping me from cleaning my room!

Well knight, at least my rat is real. ;)

Yes, I believe you did one up me on the nerd knowledge there. It makes me giddy to imagine -- an aria composed of prepositions. Oh, Bliss!
