Further evidence of my inherent weirdness: When I read the first item in today's FilmChat Newsbites (especially the part about John Lasseter's future position), I wanted to cry with joy.
Yeah, I understand, JD. I was thinking when I first read it that John Lasseter and the rest of the team at Pixar team would help improve the quality of the films at Disney, but it would be just as easy for Pixar to be corrupted by Disney. It'll be interesting to see who influences who here.

Well now, I guess we can expect some great movies!
Of course I still prefer the hand drawn animation, but you probably would guess as much.
It can only be an improvement in my opinion.
I've got mixed feelings about this.
On the one hand, it could be a good move and improve the number of movies and maybe even the quality.
On the other hand, I enjoyed a good move making company that didn't need/want help from Disney.
So I'll wait and see what happens.
