Satan attacks transitions.
What do you think of that? Do you think that's true? It's a thought that's been rolling around in my head recently, but I have absolutely no biblical backup for it. But it seems true to me. Plus I read an article recently about "the joint" (in architecture), and how holy it is. Which, something holy would be something Satan would attack. I need to read the article again (or, actually all the way through).

Sounds like you're on to something. I definitely think that a transition is somthing that he knows we are vunerable during, but that it is very important, and he would take advantage of that.
I like the connection to architecture, interesting.
To state the obvious: I think that God really wants us to keep Him in mind all the time. He is the One Love, sovereign. And of course Satan loathes when we realize that. A transition time during our lives usually indicates upheaval, where we might rely on God a little bit more than we usually do? Maybe that is what spurs Satan on to fresh attacks: When we--in our (untypical) state of unrest and uncertainty--rely on the cornerstone of Christ... Which perhaps indicates that should we rely on Him more often, we would be attacked more often? Isn't being attacked a good sign? Think of Lewis' Screwtape Letters...where lack of spiritual assault is indicate of spiritual stagnancy. Just some thoughts.
Makes sense to me. It takes a lot of effort for me to get through a transition successfully and not have to start all over again.
