An Amazing Story

I'd heard bits and pieces of Ashley Smith's story and thought is was interesting. But to hear it straight from her (albeit via op-ed page) - is simply amazing.

That's incredible. We were in eating lunch out when we saw on Fox News that he'd been caught. Quite a testimony.

Most of us have played out in our minds what we would do in certain circumstances. I hope and pray we never have to. Truly dear ones, we should be ready to stand for truth and Christ as this woman did. We never know what the circumstances will be when we get the chance to live out the great commmission in our everyday lives. This is an amazing story, thank you for sharing it with us.

I sincerely hope that Ashley will follow up on her testimony to Brian Nichols, by corresponding with him, going to some or all of his trial, visiting him in prison, and just generally making sure his life becomes and remains rehabilitated. That would be the true witness, so that Brian understands that what she said was genuine and true, and not just a bunch of stuff she made up in a time of desperation.

Agreed. I hope this is not the end of the relationship, that would be amazing.

God works in mysterious ways. Proverbs 20:24 That woman could have got herself killed, but she listened to the Holy Spirit and acted as Christ would have acted if He were in her position. She saw the opprotunity and took it. Everyday God puts us in a position where we can witness to someone and be a blessing, but many times we just walk away or ignore what God has put in front of us. God al blesses us when we do obey Him. Because Ashley obeyed God's leading He has opened the door for her story to be heard by many. I am greatly encouraged and blessed by this story. To God be the glory!!!God bless and thank you for sharing the story Foolish Knight!!
